Event Communications
Communication support for ocean science conferences, workshops, and events.
Why event communication matters
Good event communication reaches more people, builds anticipation, and keeps audiences engaged - whether they're attending in person, remotely, or can’t make it at all.
It strengthens relationships with participants, partners, and sponsors, and ensures the value of your event extends beyond the day itself.

FAQs
How far in advance should we get in touch about event communications support?
As early as possible – ideally several months before your event. Good event communication starts well before the event itself, and the earlier we're involved, the more we can do. That said, we're sometimes able to support events at shorter notice, so it's always worth getting in touch.
Can you handle communications for a virtual or hybrid event?
Yes. We can adapt our approach to suit whether your event is in person, online, or a combination of both.
Do you attend events in person or work remotely?
Both, depending on the event and what's needed. Some events benefit from on-the-ground support while others can be handled effectively from a distance. We'll discuss what makes most sense for your event.
Can you support just one phase – before, during, or after – rather than all three?
Yes. While integrated support across all three phases tends to produce the best results, we understand that budgets and timelines vary. We're happy to discuss a more focused scope if that's what you need.
How do you handle last-minute changes during live events?
Flexibility is part of the job. We plan carefully in advance to minimise surprises, but we're experienced in adapting quickly when things change (as they inevitably do during live events).
